Shining Shimmering Holidays

First of all, Happy Holidays everyone! :) I hope you had a very merry Christmas with your loved-ones!

In lieu of the glitter trend this season, this is my little tribute to my new baby, gold glitter brogues from Trunk Show. Aren't they adorable? I just love them sooo much: they're comfortable, chic, and most of all, they have glitters!!! Shining shimmering splendid shoes perfect for the season. Thank you Trunk Show, I have always been such a fan. Not only are the styles amazing but the quality of the shoes is also very admirable.

I'm so sorry for the rather blurry shots, we're improvising using my hubby's HTC camera phone 'coz he left my memory card at his laptop. #annoyed
I'm just kidding.

So okay, that face shows the annoyed look. LOL.

But of course, with or without a decent camera, our lovely date must continue. For this occasion, we chose to dine at Dillingers 1903 at Greenbelt 3. I googled the place and found out that it was named after a notorious American bank robber John Dillinger who was born in 1903, hence, the name of the restaurant. Very creative, eh?

I'm quite impressed with the restaurant's facade. It has black, wooden interiors, with intimate lights and a very cozy ambiance. It also features a sleek bar stand with all sorts of alcohol. It's like something you watch in a chick flick, where the guy gets to order a drink for the lady. Haha!

We had to order their bestseller, the Buffalo Wings. I must say, they're a bit spicy and have very strong flavour.
7
We also had their Pepper Steak which was indeed delectable. I also have to mention the fries, for RM liked them very much. We ordered another plate afterwards.
9
Cheers! We're not much of a drinker, so RM and I had the Mojito. It's a combination of white rum, lime juice, mint, and sparkling soda water. The drink is refreshingly citrus with a minty flavor, sweet at the same time.

After that, we had the Lemon Drop Shots! It's more of a lemon-flavored candy, but seriously has an oozing aftertaste of alcohol. Oh well, I liked it!

Feeling so homey!

Hello Resorts World Manila!

For the screening of our much anticipated movie, Breaking Dawn, RM and I decided to watch it at Manila's first integrated tourist destination, Resorts World Manila. It is a luxury casino resort across NAIA 3 airport, Pasay, Philippines. It also houses some boutiques, restaurants, and the Newport Cinemas. It's our first time to visit the place and I can say that it is quite nice. The cinema's interior is cozy (it's carpeted with a maroonish theme) and has very comfortable seats. Also, fewer people are accommodated as compared to a typical cinema in the mall, leading to better sound effects. I mean, you can really enjoy the viewing experience if the cinema is not crowded. Okay, too much promotions! We didn't get to try the casino though, maybe next time.

Moving on, outfit posts! These are the leopard print wedges I mentioned in my previous post.

So sorry for the messed up hair. It was totally hot that day! Though I think it matches the outfit, or not.

Forgive the silly face. I just wish I can live inside the mall.

Aww, he was waiting for me while I was choosing between the beige or black purse I was eyeing.
And now, movie time....!

Thumbs up! This is by far the best in the series. I can't wait for Part 2.

We dined at Sbarro that day...

To sum it all, the pizza was delicious, but the pasta was epic fail.

That's all for now. Till my next post.

Outfit backlog

Typhoons frequently visit the Philippines and unfortunately they seem to love the month September. This is what I wore on my birthday last September 26, when typhoon Pedring arrived. I'm actually getting used to rainy birthday celebrations, hence the comfy outfit and boots!

Girl Shoppe bangles and ribbon connector ring, The Landmark pink bracelet, pink ring, belt

Should I also mention the umbrella? 'Coz it played a major role in the outfit post. HAHA!

Good thing I was able to take decent outfit shots before the weather totally got screwed!
See?

Oh well, I really miss doing outfit shoots but the hectic schoolwork won't permit. Though, I promise myself next semester, I would have to delegate time doing what I love. THIIIIIIIIIIS!

I may be a tiny-wincy aspiring fashionista in the fashion blogosphere, but this is how I express myself. It brings me joy. :)
