Recently, I was asked by one of my dearest friends to model for her new online store, Melia Accessories. Okay, so I know I don't have a modelesque figure, height, or face, so forgive me if I may not live up to your expectations. We're just having some fun!

Haha! I already purchased this one even before it was released online!

We took these pictures just in front of UP Melchor Hall (engineering building). You could just imagine the faces of the boys who were wondering what on earth we were doing!

Mixing Prints

The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP), UP Chapter, has recently conducted a nationwide seminar on the importance of the Licensure Exam for ECE students. Being the marketing committee head for the said event, I know I'll be moving around and keeping myself busy for the day, so I opted to wear something simple and comfortable, while keeping it classy.

I also did not miss the opportunity to take pictures in our lecture hall. It's my dream to have an outfit shot in this room! Heehee

Overall, it was a fun and fulfilling experience, especially that I had the chance to talk with various people from the corporate world, from HR representatives, to the company president, to licensed engineers, to the participants who were asking me if I were really an engineering student. LOL.

My New Baby Love

They say good things come to those who wait...

Finally, a Canon EOS-7D with 50mm lens. Yaaay! This is what RM and I had been saving for, our first conjugal property as boyfriend-girlfriend. I long wanted to buy an SLR, but he insisted we save up some more so we could buy a really nice camera. Sooooo, the long wait is over! :)

We haven't really played with the settings yet, these are just some random test shots after we got it. Forgive us, if we don't know how to maximize the cam's full potential, we're still noob at it. Anytime sooner, I'll post some really decent pictures. :)

Bounce Back

Unfortunate circumstances made an emotional mess out of me for the past month. It's easy to put the blame on other people; to that someone who have disappointed me, as well as to those people who haven't trusted my capabilities and determination. But you see, there's no point in doing that anymore.

For when you feel like you're already at the pit bottom, there's no other way but up.

Oh gosh, after all the trouble, I missed the cam-whoring part.

Shining Shimmering Holidays

First of all, Happy Holidays everyone! :) I hope you had a very merry Christmas with your loved-ones!

In lieu of the glitter trend this season, this is my little tribute to my new baby, gold glitter brogues from Trunk Show. Aren't they adorable? I just love them sooo much: they're comfortable, chic, and most of all, they have glitters!!! Shining shimmering splendid shoes perfect for the season. Thank you Trunk Show, I have always been such a fan. Not only are the styles amazing but the quality of the shoes is also very admirable.

I'm so sorry for the rather blurry shots, we're improvising using my hubby's HTC camera phone 'coz he left my memory card at his laptop. #annoyed

I'm just kidding.


So okay, that face shows the annoyed look. LOL.

But of course, with or without a decent camera, our lovely date must continue. For this occasion, we chose to dine at Dillingers 1903 at Greenbelt 3. I googled the place and found out that it was named after a notorious American bank robber John Dillinger who was born in 1903, hence, the name of the restaurant. Very creative, eh?

I'm quite impressed with the restaurant's facade. It has black, wooden interiors, with intimate lights and a very cozy ambiance. It also features a sleek bar stand with all sorts of alcohol. It's like something you watch in a chick flick, where the guy gets to order a drink for the lady. Haha!


We had to order their bestseller, the Buffalo Wings. I must say, they're a bit spicy and have very strong flavour.

We also had their Pepper Steak which was indeed delectable. I also have to mention the fries, for RM liked them very much. We ordered another plate afterwards.

Cheers! We're not much of a drinker, so RM and I had the Mojito. It's a combination of white rum, lime juice, mint, and sparkling soda water. The drink is refreshingly citrus with a minty flavor, sweet at the same time.

After that, we had the Lemon Drop Shots! It's more of a lemon-flavored candy, but seriously has an oozing aftertaste of alcohol. Oh well, I liked it!
